Job Responsibilities:
- Test Planning (Development of Test Plans, Test Schedules, Defining Test Cycles, Test Cases and Test Scripts).
- Test Deliverables (Test Plan, Requirements Mapping, Analyze and Report Testing Results, and Document Reviews)
- Defect Reporting (Analyze, and manage software defects, and work closely with the development team to fix/close the defects)
- Performing Manual Test Execution for the applications under development.
- Perform different types of Testing (Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Error Handling Testing and System Testing).
- Interact and work with business analysts and development team to develop, maintain, and execute quality assurance testing procedures.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as QA tester.
- Experience in implementing various software QA/testing methodologies.
- Experience in developing and executing QA/testing strategy, test plan, test cases and scripts.
- Experience in analyzing and reporting test results using defect tracking tool(s).
- Experience in analyzing, prioritizing, and managing software defects, and effectively working with developers in fixing and closing defects.
- Excellent understanding of agile/waterfall software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Strong written and oral skills and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to move easily between various tasks.
- Experience working in Banking or Finance is a must.
- Experience using HP Quality Center.
Role Description:
- Ensure the successful completion of software projects by executing software quality activities throughout the software development life cycle.
- Lead preparation and execution of manual and automated test efforts, which includes test design, and authoring of test cases and defining data requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience on large test efforts as a Lead/ Analyst. Test planning, organizing, test design, and test execution.
- Development and execution of Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Schedule.
- Supporting test lead by identifying risks and to develop mitigation strategies.
- Defect management tools and processes.
- Practical knowledge and experience in all phases of software QA.
- Testing at different levels (unit, functional, integration, end to end, regression, system, load and performance testing). Facilitation of User Acceptance Testing.
- Designing automation efforts for medium to large test efforts. Defining data requirements for test efforts. Data gathering for test efforts.
- 2 -4 years experience with developing generic and reusable frameworks that are used to support multiple applications:Development of documentation to facilitate usage of test automation framework.
- 2 – 4 years experience with developing manual test cases. Creating manual test cases from Use cases, Functional specs and other requirement documents.
- Excellent Written and oral communication skills.
- Effectively communicate testing activities and findings in oral and written formats.
- Participate in reviews of system architecture, and design documents.
Job Description
Review product and system functional requirements and create test plans and test cases to ensure that overall quality is delivered. Execute manual and automated test cases and scripts. Document and validate resolution of identified defects. Assist in implementing improvements in test methods and strategies. Escalate quality concerns to management.

Primary responsibilities include:

Technical Skills:
- Well-versed in all testing methodologies (white vs. black box test work, system vs. functional).

- Demonstrated experience testing various application architectures such as web applications, client server applications, and web services.
- Knowledge of Wintel and UNIX platforms.

Position Responsibilities / Requirments
- Sunday through Thursday: 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM
- Answer incoming Help Desk calls from local & remote users & create tickets to document issues
- Work with the IT team to proactively identify problems & facilitate resolutions
- Prioritize Help Desk tickets & document issues / resolutions thoroughly in Help Desk software
- Troubleshoot laptop & desktop issues for local & remote users
- Basic troubleshooting & analysis with AS/400, Lotus Notes, Windows network printing, Windows XP & Active Directory
- Experience with Windows XP Professional OS, Microsoft Office Suite, VPN & Citrix remote access solutions
- Strong understanding of basic networking fundamentals
